Stewartville Man Arrested For Reported Gun Pointing Incident
Stewartville, MN (KROC AM News) - A Stewartville man was arrested Thursday for a reported gun-related incident.
Olmsted County deputies were called to the 2000 block of Heron Dr. NW and arrested 24-year-old Shaun Whitney in response to a 911 made by a woman.
The woman told the deputies the two had a relationship that ended a few weeks ago.
The woman said a man she works with drove her to Whitney's residence around 10:00 PM to exchange some property. The woman said Whitney opened the car door and tried to punch the man but she intervened. She says that’s when Whitney pulled a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the man.
The woman says she got back into the car and they drove off.
