So far in Rio, our American athletes have shined under the spotlight in this years Olympic games.

I still remember the summer when I fell in love with the Olympics.

It was 1996, and gymnast Kerri Strug had just injured herself and broke her ankle on the dismount of her final routine.  I can remember sitting there at 13 years old in my living room thinking: "Wow, what a champion!"  I was absolutely glued to the screen as she grimaced in pain.  It was an incredible sight to see as a young kid knowing she wasn't much older than me, and that she was competing at the highest of levels at the Olympics!

It's my hope that athletes like Michael Phelps, Simone Biles, and Katie Ledecky inspire today's youth to chase their own dreams and show them that anything is possible once you put your mind and heart into it.

In this episode of the 'Two Minute Drill' Scotty and Frank talk this years Olympics, including the resurgence of Phelps, the Gabby Douglas controversy and also what ohter sports they are most excited about.

Here, too, is an awesome documentary of the Kerri Strug fault from '96!
