The Best Craft Brewery in All of Iowa, According to Yelp
Just in time for the Cedar Rapids Beer Summit and with it being National American Craft Beer Week, it's time to announce the best brewery in the state of Iowa (well, according to Yelp, at least).
Before we make the big reveal, we must address what exactly a craft beer is, as told to us by Yelp, so we're all on the same page: "According to Brewers Association, for a brewer’s beer to be considered craft beer, they must have three attributes and by definition be small, independent, and be a brewer. In the craft beer world, small means an annual production of less than 6 million barrels a year, independent means that less than 25% of the brewery is controlled by a beverage alcohol industry member – that is not itself a craft brewer, and a brewer meaning they have a TTB Brewer’s Notice and make beer."
If you disagree with that definition, save the email. I didn't make it up, I am solely the vessel.
And the winner of the best craft brewery in the state of Iowa is.....
