Thunderstorms rumbled through southeastern Minnesota this morning, producing rain and hail in many areas - including Rochester. The National Weather Service reports quarter inch to half inch hail fell in parts of the city and the surrounding area.  One inch hailstones were reported in Winona and Fillmore counties and a wind gust of 70 miles per hour was clocked near Mound Prairie in Houston County.  Nearly 3/4ths of an inch of rain was recorded at the Rochester airport as of noon.  The Weather Service says there is a threat of more storms into this evening. More rain is in the forecast for the area tomorrow.
