Torii Hunter, Trevor Plouffe and Brian Dozier also cleared the fences at Target Field. Hunter’s homer was his 207th as a Twin, tying Kirby Puckett on the all-time list.

Former Yankee Phil Hughes blanked the New Yorkers over seven innings, winning his fifth consecutive decision and improving his record to 9-6. Tommy Milone pitches for Minnesota in tonight’s 6:10 p-m game against C.C. Sabathia for New York.  Pre-game at 5:30 on KROC AM.
