UMD Wins NSIC Volleyball Championship

Duluth, Minn. - The University of Minnesota Duluth won its second straight NSIC/US Bank Tournament Championship with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-10) victory over Wayne State. The win gives the No. 2 Bulldogs an automatic bid to the NCAA Central Region Tournament, which will be held November 20-22 on a regional campus. The entire field of NCAA qualifying teams will be announced on Sunday night at 9 p.m. (CT) via webcast at NCAA.com.
