The Tigers blew an early 8-0 lead but used the long ball late to beat the Twins 10-8 last night, but it's what happened in the 4th inning that made the highlight reel in an otherwise forgettable game for our home team...

While most of you probably turned off the game after Detroit scored their first 8 runs in the first inning last night against rookie pitcher Jose Berrios, (who can blame you) the Twins actually came back to tie it up before the Tigers eventually won the game.

In the bottom of the 4th inning, the home plate umpire called Detroit batter Castellanos out on strikes.  It was then that Tigers manager Brad Ausmus began to argue the call as the ump's strike zone was questionable all night on both sides.

Ausmus was immediately ejected from the dugout, but he then charged the mound to make his point and left his sweatshirt on top of home plate - all while the field mics were on...
