Warming Shelter Fire at Rochester Park
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Fire Department extinguished a fire in a warming shelter at a Rochester Park Wednesday evening.

RFD arrived at Lincolnshire Park in Northwest Rochester to small flames on the outside of the shelter. Once crews could get inside, they discovered a fire burning near a wood-burning stove. Nobody was in the building and RFD extinguished the fire.

The Rochester Fire Department reported a significant amount of damage to the building and that it will not be available for use until repaired or replaced. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
