A West Concord woman and teen were injured in a car crash on Highway 52 in Goodhue County Saturday afternoon. The woman and teen were said to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

41-year-old Beatriz Adriana Orozcosaravia and a 13-year-old passenger were injured after a Jeep driven by 63-year-old Mark Clifford Swanson of Edina. According to the State Patrol, "Orozcosaravia and her passenger were driving a 2006 Nissan Altima on Highway 57 and were at the stop sign at Highway 52. The Jeep was southbound on Highway 52. The vehicles collided."

The report from the Minnesota State Patrol indicated that alcohol was determined to be a factor with Swanson, the driver of the Jeep.

Road conditions at the time of the crash were reported to be dry.

Orozcosaravia and the passenger were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester.

Responding to the scene of the crash along with the Minnesota State Patrol, were the Goodhue County Sheriff's Office, Zumbrota Police Department, Wanamingo Fire, and First Responders, Zumbrota Ambulance, and Fire.
