While the city of Rochester does not set an official day for children to trick-or-treat, it is recommended that those who are planning to go trick-or-treating door-to-door and those who will be at home to hand out candy do so the evening of Halloween, October 31.

What Are the Hours For Trick-Or-Treating in Rochester, MN?

As far as when trick-or-treating starts and ends, you can usually expect the costumed youngsters to show up at your door around sunset -- between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Most kids will likely wrap up their trick-or-treating by 8 p.m., however, some older kids may go until 9 p.m.
