(St. Paul, MN) (Learfield Sports)  --  The Minnesota Wild left yesterday for Chicago as tonight is Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals between the Wild and Blackhawks. 

It's the third postseason in a row the two Central Divison rivals will clash in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.  Two years ago the Hawks bounced the Wild from the first round in five games and last year they got them in the second round and managed to take them down in six.  Game #1 is tonight at 8:30 and the full schedule is below:

Dubnyk Nominated for Masterton

(St. Paul, MN)  --  The National Hockey League yesterday announced Minnesota Wild goaltender Devan Dubnyk is one of three finalists for this year's Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. The trophy is presented annually to the player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey.

The recipient of the 2015 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy will be announced Wednesday, June 24, during the 2015 NHL Awards from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Andrew Hammond of the Ottawa Senators and Kris Letang of the Pittsburgh Penguins were also named finalists for the Masterton Trophy.

Dubnyk, 28, went 36-14-4 in 58 games this season and ranked second in the NHL with both a 2.07 goals-against average (GAA) and .929 save percentage (SV%), T-4th with six shutouts and T-6th in wins. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound native of Regina, Sask., set single-season career highs in GAA, SV%, games played, consecutive starts (39), wins, shutouts, minutes, assists (2), shots faced (1,625) and saves (1,510).
