Weather Closings and Delays for Thursday January 11th

A winter storm warning is in effect for Thursday and with it comes snow, closings, and delays.

The National Weather Service has declared a winter storm warning in effect from 3am till 6pm on Thursday the 11th. They predict 4 to 6 inches of snow will blanket Rochester, Olmsted County, and much of Southern Minnesota. They also say to expect blowing, drifting, and slippery roadways as rain turns to snow and the temperature drops. If you're traveling to work at Mayo from surrounding communities, Rochester City Lines reports that their buses will remain on the road.
