The Olmsted County Board was scheduled to take care of a bookkeeping error at its meeting today - a $3 booboo.

The county’s finance director recently discovered the 2014 property tax levy that was adopted in December was $3 higher than the maximum that was set in September.  That’s a violation of state law.  The board is being asked to officially adjust the levy to the legal level - by taking $3 out of the general fund account.
