Guy Fieri’s First Iowa Restaurant Set To Open Soon! [VIDEO]

The wait is nearly over for fans of Food Network star Guy Fieri! The host of the popular show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives will soon be opening his first restaurant in the state of Iowa, and the opening date has finally been announced!

Back in February, we told you about Harah's Council Bluffs Hotel and Casino announcing a $22 million renovation project. Around $4 million of that project was the construction of Guy Fieri's Kitchen + Bar restaurant, the first of its kind in the state of Iowa!

WHO reports that the restaurant will feature many of Fieri's signature foods including his famous trash can nachos! Officials with Harrah's Casino also state that the new restaurant will take full advantage of the new outdoor entertainment facility at the casino called Stir Concert Cove. WHO reports that the restaurant will feature a full outdoor patio and complement the other renovations made to the casino.

The best news of all is that you won't have to wait much longer to plan your trip to try Guy's amazing food! WHO reports that Guy Fieri's Kitchen + Bar at Harrah's Council Bluffs has set its opening day for Monday, May 22nd!
