This Wisconsin Diner Visited by Guy Fieri Named Best in the State

Wisconsin is one of my favorite states to eat my way across. In fact, I have and there's no shortage of spots for amazing food. If you're new to America's Dairyland, don't miss out on the state's most iconic foods.

Hidden Gem Restaurants in Wisconsin

Everything about this little diner is perfect, like their loaded hash browns. However, there is one bad thing about this place, but I'll get to that later.

It won't take long for you to see why the Mayor of Flavortown fell in love with this fabulous-looking little diner in the middle of nowhere.

Opened just a little over 20 years ago, the owners of Delta Diner set out to recreate an authentic diner experience right out of the 1940s and they nailed it, and then some.

Guy Fieri raved about the place so much, that the writers at Mashed put it on top of their list, The Best Diners, Drive-Ins, And Dives Restaurant In Every State.

In Mason, Wisconsin is where you'll find this great little roadside diner.

The Facebook reviews on this place are great and the food, while being made in an old-school diner, looks like it came from a restaurant with some Michelin stars.

Yes, the Northwoods. As I write this story from the comforts of my northern Illinois home, I'm plotting all the stops worth making on my way to the Delta Diner located 364 miles from Rockford, Illinois. But,

here comes that bad news I mentioned earlier. Delta Diner closes when the colder seasons arrive. The diner is only open in the spring and summer months. This is just like that tiny and amazing burger shack in Jefferson.
