I don't usually like parodies, but this is well done.  Also, it's set to the tune of one of my favorite ballads...

Bruce Boudreau will be introduced as the Wild’s coach on Tuesday at a press conference in St. Paul, but it was late Saturday night that you could hear a collective "sigh" amongst the Wild faithful.

It wasn't long after The Wild were eliminated in the first round in this years playoffs that General Manager Chuck Fletcher got to work in finding the new head honcho behind the Wild's bench.

Here's a little tune detailing what I'm sure Minnesota Wild fans' reaction was to the announcement of their new head coach Bruce Boudreau - Set to the tune of the Heart classic: "Alone"

ENJOY!

It was initially reported that interim head coach John Torchetti, who replaced Mike Yeo midway through the regular season, was a strong candidate to get the nod.  Unfortunately for him (but lucky for us) the Anaheim Ducks decided to part ways with Boudreau after losing another Game 7 in this years playoffs.

You see, his teams have won eight division titles, four each in Anaheim and Washington, although his teams have struggled to match regular-season achievements with postseason success.  The Ducks have lost four straight Game 7s under Boudreau... All of those losses coming at home.

In any case, Wild fans will gladly take that type of production from it's squad after getting chased by the Chicago Blackhawks and Dallas Stars respectively the past 4 seasons.

Boudreau now has a 4 year contract that will pay him a reported $3 million per season to turn around the franchises luck.  Let's hope it pans out, or we'll be seeing even more quick exits to the season - and I'm not talking playoffs either.
