It's funny because I haven't answered my door for strangers in many years. We get a lot of door-to-door salespeople in our neighborhood. The incident occurred at an apartment building complex in Madison. It was late on a Monday night. To me, that's a really big red flag to not open your door for a stranger. An unknown man was walking up and down the hallways and knocking on random doors. Nobody would answer so he just kept on doing it.

Finally, one of the residents decided to take a chance and check out this situation. I would call that a bad decision. He opened his door and the mystery man entered carrying a pair of smaller axes. The stranger didn't stay long. He pretty much immediately ran over to a window and jumped out. By the way, it was on the 2nd floor. Luckily, no one was injured. Maybe, he did some sort of action movie move with the weapons, caught onto a tree, and climbed down.

The police arrived and were able to track him down. He was a couple of blocks away just walking down the street. He was arrested. I have so many questions that haven't been answered. Why was he knocking on doors? Why did he have axes? Why did he jump out the window? Why did the person open the door for him? Can someone please tell me more?
