recently visiting the city.  Investigators know he had contact with at least one person - a 13 year old boy. Officers were called to the boy’s home December 16th after his father found him in bed with what appeared to be an older juvenile male.  He told the boy’s father his name was Josiah Schulze and that he was 17.  The father told him to leave.  Police eventually learned the younger boy had established an online relationship with the other male, who was living in Texas.  It was also learned the other male was actually 30 years old and that his real name is Jonathan Perez - who was convicted of a sex-related crime in Texas in 2008. When further investigation determined Perez had sexual contact with the 13 year old boy, a formal complaint was filed charging him with 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct. Authorities are now working to have Perez returned to Rochester to face prosecution. Police discovered Perez had recently made several phone calls to Rochester numbers, including John Adams Middle School.  That has investigators wondering if he had contact with any other minors.  It’s believed he was in the city between December 11th and January 7th.
