Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - An investigation is underway after several cattle were reported stolen last week.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the missing cattle in the 3100 block of 60th Street just southeast of Rochester on April 25th.

Officials said that the farmer received a call that his cattle were loose. The farmer responded quickly to retrieve the cattle, but he could not locate them. The man then called the sheriff’s office to report that he believed the cows were loaded into a trailer and taken away.

Still missing are two steers that are mostly black with areas of white and weighing between 450 and 500 pounds. Each steer was valued at $700. Also missing are three heifers that range between 700-850 pounds that are mostly red in color and valued at $2,500 each.
