One of the three teenagers charged in connection with a large brawl at a party in Rochester last summer has pleaded guilty to felony assault charges. 18-year-old Christopher Smith entered into a plea agreement on Thursday by admitting to three counts of second degree assault with a dangerous weapon. Smith and two other 18-year-old men were arrested after Rochester Police were called to a home in the city’s Diamond Ridge neighborhood on June 22nd to deal with a melee that broke out after one of the three men was asked to leave the party and he returned with the two others. During the fight, one person was struck on the head with a golf club and required emergency surgery for a brain injury. Smith is scheduled to be sentenced on May 19th.
