St Michael, MN (KROC AM News)  - A man who held officers at bay while inside a home in St Michael was shot Wednesday night when they went in to end the standoff that dragged on for more than 40 hours.

Officers in the central Minnesota town were sent to the home early Tuesday on a domestic call.

The Wright County Sheriff’s office says he opened fire when officers entered the home and they fired back. There is no word on his medical condition. No other injuries were reported.

Reports indicate there were two juveniles and an adult female in the home during the standoff but they were not there when officers went in.
